Dr. Myint deals with cosmetic and reconstructive concerns around the eyes, face and neck. Whether the procedure is initial (your first) or revisional (correcting or maintaining a prior procedure), Dr. Myint has a reputation for delivering beauty and balance to his patients. While the majority of his work is cosmetic, Dr. Myint also treats a variety of medical concerns such as children born with facial deformities, patients with eye tumors and even those with thyroid eye disease. Dr. Myint has co-authored and authored five leading major textbooks in the field of Oculo Facial Plastic Surgery for residents and surgeons from around the globe. He has published many peer reviewed articles nationally and internationally, as well as written chapters in some of the leading textbooks on plastic surgery. His recent book titled “Nonsurgical Periorbital Rejuvenation” has been well received by his colleagues. While Dr. Myint is certainly magic, the moment you speak to him you realize he is neither hype nor illusion; he is concretely the real deal. Dr. Myint completed his undergraduate education at Stetson University in Deland, FL and continued his education at Columbia University in NYC. From there, he attended Nova University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami, FL where he graduated with his medical degree. He then served his medical internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. After finishing his residency, he completed fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at Michigan State University in Lansing, MI. Then, he was accepted into one of the most prestigious fellowships in the country for Oculo Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at both Providence Hospital and Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI with world-renowned Dr. Frank A. Nesi.
Dr. Myint is a highly decorated and diversely trained Oculo Facial Plastic Surgeon who specializes in simple and comprehensive procedures for the eyes, face, and neck. He is well-versed in performing facelifts, neck lifts, and a wide variety of eyelid surgeries to address cosmetic, medical, and reconstructive concerns. He also performs revision eyelid surgery to correct a previous blepharoplasty that did not yield ideal results. These procedures are incredibly delicate and complex, requiring a niche form of expertise and a steady hand to perform them. Dr. Myint’s education and experience make him a master at improving cosmetic concerns, such as eyelid droop (ptosis), eyelid bags, excess eyelid skin (dermatochalasis), eyelid trauma, saggy brows, and tissue laxity of the forehead. Other areas of focus include medical conditions such as obstructed tear ducts, thyroid disease, eyelid malposition, and thyroid eye disease. Additionally, Dr. Myint offers BOTOX, liquid facelifts, liquid eye lifts, microneedling, and skin tightening modalities.
